As a child I spent much of my life hanging from the apron strings of two enthusiastic parents & a Nan who baked. Since leaving home & raising my family this interest has stayed and grown into a real obsession which an unhealthily large collection of cook books is testament to.

During the years waiting at the school gates and helping with the PTA I became accustomed to people telling me 'I can't cook' and not being a person to shirk away from a challenge I took it on myself to teach a friend to bake. Spurred on I has now set up The Cookery Project from my Essex home.
