What are The Cookery Project Kits?
My Cookery Kits are cute little bags of pre-weighed & freshly prepared ingredients enabling people to produce a quick no fuss dish with just the addition of your choice of main ingredient. Menus are released periodically via email for order and collection at pre arranged collection points, this usually happens around 1-2 times a months. Most kits serve 2-3 people with addition of your choice of ingredients.
Why are my kits different from others?
Many other kits promise an authentic curry, but how often have we found the results disappointing and preparation longer than expected?
However my kits are very different from many kits on the market; they are freshly prepared by me in my kitchen including fresh ingredients essential for Thai flavours. They are lovingly sourced, weighed and wrapped ready for cooking.
My Cookery kits usually contain all ingredients required to make a quick easy sauce and all they need is your choice of main ingredient; occasionally I may include other essential ingredients (side dishes will contain rice or noodles) If you are worried what you may require please just ask and I am happy to clarify.
Every time I produce a new menu, this enables me to source the freshest ingredients when they are at their best. The menu and availability can received by signing up for my newsletter.
Healthy?
Wherever possible kits contain the minimum amount of fat, salt & sugar. This enables you to tailor your dish to your health requirements.
Some of my recipes are naturally free from Gluten, Dairy or meat so if you have any dietary requirements please just ask and I can give you the information you require.
As all kits are freshly prepared by me I ensure I use fresh ingredients with no unnecessary preservatives, flavouring or colourings as is possible. Due to the nature of the more exotic ingredients this is sometimes unavoidable, but you can be assured every care is taken to keep these to a minimum!
How long do they keep?
As they are super fresh they will need to be refrigerated and used within 3-5 days. Depending on the the recipe most kits could be frozen but this can affect the appearance of some fresh ingredients such as fresh herbs etc. but these items can be easily replaced if you feel it is necessary.
All that's left is for you to decide which main ingredient you'd prefer and how you would like to serve it (hot heads or the more light hearted don't panic, most kits start their life moderately mild then can be tailored with optional chillies so hopefully everyones happy!!)
Distribution
On selected weeks my kits are ordered from my menu via email and collected from a selection of local collection points or delivered to a prearranged local business or delivery address. If you would like to place an order this is how it works:
Midweek of Curry Kit weeks:
You will receive my updated menu by email (please subscribe to my newsletter) or via social media. Reply to your my email or contact via email at thecookeryproject@gmail.com Any questions just ask (I will have a limited stock of certain dishes so order as soon as possible to avoid disappointment!!).
In your message please ensure you specify the following:
1. Your order requirements along with any dietary concerns you may have.
2. A collection point & time from the selection below.
3. A name & contact Phone Number on collection day.
I will confirm your order by return along with kit instructions, if you don't hear anything please let me know!!
Payment will be required on collection or delivery.
Friday 8:10am; Drop off at Reception, Helena Romanes School, Dunmow
Friday 8.30 - 9.30am; I'll be collecting supplies from Sweetlands Butchers & The Modern Greengrocer, Stortford Rd, Dunmow, you are welcome to catch me here.
Friday 10am - 7pm; Collection from Cookery Project HQ, time to be confirmed prior to collection,
